What changes per venue
The venue choice narrows the whole app, and a few things stay the same.
Choosing a venue is not a filter on one list. It narrows the working screens together, so the counts you read in one place always agree with the rows you see in another.
What follows the venue
| Where | What changes |
|---|---|
| Inbox | Only that venue's calls and text threads. |
| The badge on the Inbox tab | Counts that venue's work. |
| Home's Overview | The tiles, charts and top transfer reasons all read that venue's numbers. |
Because the badge and the list are counted the same way, they can never disagree about how much work there is.
On All venues, the Inbox shows everything, and rows in a list name their venue so you can tell them apart. Home's Overview does not aggregate: bookings and calls are reported one venue at a time, so on All venues it asks you to choose one. See The Overview.
What does not change
- Which company you are in. That is a bigger switch, made in Settings. See Choose your company.
- Your notification settings. They apply to the whole company, not to one venue. See Notification settings.
- The items themselves. Filtering hides rows, it never changes or finishes them.
Time follows the venue
With one venue selected, the Overview reads its dates and times in that venue's local time rather than your phone's. A number for Tuesday is the venue's Tuesday, wherever you are standing.
Quiet hours in your notification settings are read the same way. See Notification settings.
The color on screen
Each venue can carry its own accent color, and the app picks it up when you select that venue. It is a cue, not a setting. If you want to change how the app looks, see Choose a theme.
